Dana Magliola

"Growing up in the South Carolina Lowcountry and the Florida Keys, I've been around water my whole life. I firmly believe that having respect for the health of our oceans and waterways allows us to preserve what we love about college sailing for future generations."

Dana started sailing competitively in college and has been hooked ever since. Today, he is the head coach for the North Carolina State University Sailing Team and Commissioner of the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) conference. As an active leader in college sailing, he recognizes the opportunity to build a respect and love of the water in student-athletes.
