Chris Wolfe - Sailors for the Sea

Chris Wolfe

“Preserving the specialness of places like the Salish Sea is incredibly important to me – it belongs to all living things, living now and in the future.”

Chris is a lifelong environmentalist and sailor. She co-owns a Jeanneau SunFast 3300 sailboat that she races doublehanded with her husband. One of her current projects includes the Cascadia Sailing IC37 program to prepare for the inaugural 2026 New York Yacht Club International Women’s Championship. She has been collaborating with fellow female Sailors for the Sea Skippers to encourage Clean Regattas best practices for this event. She is originally from the Pacific Northwest, but is spending more time in Europe. She was the 2023 US Sailing/Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year.
