Summer Sailstice is the global holiday celebrating sailing held annually on the summer solstice, the longest sailing days of the year. Each year paticipants pledge to support Sailors for the Sea’s ocean conservation mission.

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is committed to creating and maintaining healthy, sustainable oceans through litigation, policy analysis and the support of over 1 million members and online activists. The NRDC has graciously provided Sailors for the Sea with insights and comments regarding ocean policy decisions.
